Nature show and botanical circuit trail is dedicated to the sumptuous flowers and diversity of insects in the unique alpine meadows.

Between the Rasthaus Schöneck and the Glocknerhaus lie the most lush and flower-rich alpine meadows, Pockhorn Fields. On an area of on 100m2 is as many 140 species of plants, including numerous orchids.

A small nature show shows this sumptuousness of flowers and diversity of insects in the unique alpine fields with fascinating insights into the astonishing interdependence between alpine flowers and insects.

Special “Sonnblick Observatory” Exhibition.
Insight into the history and the multifaceted tasks of the Sonnblick Observatory. On fine days with a clear view one can see as far as the Sonnblick in the Rauris Goldberg Group.

Open daily from 9am to 5pm, when the road is open. Admission is free of charge.
